What is Masters rowing?
Masters rowing focuses on the health and fitness benefits of rowing, socializing and forming friendships. This allows former university crew members and rowing enthusiasts alike (at least 19 years old) the opportunity to row. For experienced rowers, we have open rowing practice on the water weekdays from 6 – 8pm, and Saturday from 9:00– 10:30am. The boats and equipment are accessible to club members during daylight hours, 7 days a week, weather permitting (as winter and spring approach there may be some days when it's not safe to be on the river). Club members routinely come and go at all times.
Where can you row?
The rowing compound is located on the Little Arkansas in Riverside Park. It’s directly southeast of the Ralph Wulz Tennis Center at 551 Nims St. You will see the arched boat storage shelter as your drive towards the tennis courts. Open parking is available next to the rowing compound. Click here for a map to rowing on the Little Arkansas. Click here to learn how to join us and become a WRA member.
