Competitive rowing focuses on the health and fitness benefits of rowing as well as the thrill of competing. WRA members have the opportunity to participate in various regattas throughout the season and WRA hosts our own Regatta in November. Recreational rowing allows you to hone your skills as a rower at a slower pace which still offers health and wellness benefits without having to compete. Both types of rowers enjoy socializing and forming friendships with others who enjoy the sport. |
